This is a very custom z, and we can argue about price of paint and parts all day. According to the parts list the engine is thee most expensive part and is somewhat protected in the bay. Obviously the owner has money and looking at the labor bill so do you and "that's a good thing :-)". 1. Buy the car from the insurance
2. Remove all the parts to see what is salvageable, I doubt the engine, valve train, and block wasn't damaged along with the pistons and rods, there forged.
3. Scrap the bs and buy a straight z na or TT or even a convertible.
4. Swap the goodies, buy what you need to complete it as you said some of these upgrades are 8 years old so the new cant hurt.
5. Enjoy a z car again, the totaled z is 8 years of work. Hard to put a price on that that doesn't ruffle feathers ya dig.
